It's not often we follow the Americans, but they have had disclaimers and, 'For entertainment only' notices in their newspaper horoscopes for years.

I have no problem with the entertainment value of these horoscopes at all, but when major descisions are based on the position of the stars, that's worrying.

Did you know for instance, that during the height of the 'cold war', President Regan postponed SALT (Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty) talks with the Russians, because Nancy told him his 'stars' were not favourable, now that's really worrying.

So it's time to 'come clean' you 'swindling astrologers', you can't do it!!

    Hello Curiosity/Satisfaction,

You have received a message from another user!

    From: Ron

Message: I will reply honestly to your prediction, I promise.

    WE DON'T PREDICT

    WE JUST READ THE CHARTS

    And if you challenge Astrologers

you should go to the Entertainment Section

    under Astrology

  2. Hi Ron long time no see!

I agree wholeheartedly with you but I know so many very clever people who believe in all this ......

None so blind as those that cannot see..........

(have you had your suit dry cleaned for the big day yet ? ! )

  3. We had Cherie Blair doing the same thing, consulting weirdos for advice.

These ranged from waving a crystal over Tony's nail clippings, mediums, showers with mud etc. No wonder we have a government obsessed with "new age" global warming.

Who in the their right mind would take advice from an unwashed, unemployed, rag-bag dresser with facial piercings and in need of a good dose of reality?

  4. Yup, astrology is stupid. Unfortunately, so are most people.

Entertainment value is all very well but why would anyone actually base a major action on them?

  5. I object mostly to those rip-off astrology phone lines ,probably charging a fiver a minute-they take the p*ss-exploiting the vulnerable I say.

I think the disclaimer should be "For very poor, inferior entertainment purposes "
