  1. The same as in any other government. Read these "10 Planks of Communism," and don't be worried that they are published by Libertarians with their own commentary. The Planks are real no matter who comments on them.

    http://www.libertyzone.com/Communist-Man...

But you will notice the Planks cannot be implemented without the sort of government power used by the Soviets, the Chinese, the Cubans, etc.

That is because the Planks are anti-human, if by human we mean "life according to the principles of individual sovereignty."

"Individual sovereignty was not a peculiar conceit of Thomas Jefferson: It was the common assumption of the day;" http://www.friesian.com/ellis.htm The American Founders abstracted the concept from Locke's "common sovereignty." After all, how can one contribute some of his rights to the common sovereignty, if one does not have the rights of individual sovereignty to assign to the commonality?

But in Communism and all other forms of Collectivism, the sovereignty of the individual is dismissed as a usupation of the rights of the "people." What this really means is, the "people" are what the murderous leaders say are "the people," and the beginning of individual sovereignty which the medeival English secured for themselves in the Magna Charta were for nothing, and are now transferred back to the ruling class, leaving the "people" with nothing but slavery.

  2. Communism is about removing all the wrong choices from an individual's life.

Capitalism is about letting people make their own mistakes.

  3. Communism sounded like a good idea, but it doesn't and can't succeed in the long run, because a man has to have incentive to work and to progress in life, and communism doesn't reward hard work, it just expects individuals to produce and do their best without incentive to do so.

That's why the Soviet Union collapsed.

Communism is dying in China, also, and great economic strides are being made in that country.    Who would have ever thought that China would have an economy that would produce Chinese billionaires?

I don't know what communists' philosophy is regarding American government, but communism is dying anyway.    Look at how communism has kept the Cuban economy from developing.

I hope that this was helpful in some way.
