Community College or UC? Does it even matter?

I plan on becoming a Nursing major for college. But I need help on deciding whether to attend community or a UC. Does it really matter?

I know that attending a UC would be a better experience but community college would be good financially. Thanks a lot!

  1. I think a good solution for that would be to go to the community college for 2 years, and get your general education done and then transfer to the UC of your choice. You would save a lot of money in those two years and still get the benefits of graduating from a UC and the great education that comes along with it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

  2. Start off with the community college and then transfer after graduation to UC. Have a great day!

  3. Go what you can afford!  College is a lot of money, so go with what you can without going too far into debt.  You can always continue your education later in life after you have settled and can afford it! Good luck! =)

  4. Most community colleges are only two years.

A nursing degree is 4 years.

But a community college would be great for a LPN education.
