Community Service??

Question

My friend is a senior in HS and is suppost to gradguate this year but she has all 40 hrs of her community service to do!! She has only a month or so to get it done and she isn't moving too fast to get it done!! She won't gradguate without her community service!! What happens if she dosen't get it done, will she have to come to school next year still even if she has all her credits and will she be able to get it done over the summer?? She is 18 if that matters!!

I really never heard of this but if she just does only 4 hours a week for the next 10 weeks she will have completed the requirement.

I don't understand her, if she invested 4 years of school dedicated time to study to graduate why would she let such such a small thing like community service hold her back? There is a lot she will gain from the experience if she picks a good arena in which to fulfill her obligation.

If she doesn't care where her life is leading, then why should you be concerned. She had better get it done if she wants to graduate. My suggestion to you would be follow though with your dreams and do what is needed for you to get though this life and let your friend throw her life down the drain if that's what she want. I finished 300 hrs of service with-in a month and she can finish her little 40 in that time also.
