Question:

Community Tank Fish?

Right now I have:

1 catfish, 2 1/2 inches, shouldn't get much bigger, not agressive.

1 chinese algae eater, 2 inches, shouldn't get much bigger either.

2 dalmation mollies, 1 inch each, neither are agressive.

My question is, What small fish can I add to my tank. I don't need the amount of fish. I was just wondering what tropical fish would get along with the fish I have now.

  1. Any kind of tetras will be fine.

    Ex. Neon tetra Jumbo

  2. the chinese algae eater WILL get bigger and WILL become very aggressive. and mollies need brackish water.

  3. Livebearers, Gouramis, Danios, Rasboras, Barbs, Tetras, Rainbowfish, Loaches, Plecos, and scavenger Catfish

  4. Yes they do get along well. You can add guppy's,danios, there is not that many small fish (that i know of).I think you should get a few guppy's.They are very colorful,But i can not have guppy's in my fish tank because they get eaten by my other large fish,The large fish that eats guppy's are(About 5 maybe 6inches.Dani's do good to,they are very fun to watch,i have 4 danios, they are each about 1-2 inches long. The danios are not very colorful, but they look very nice.I am shore there are more fish that you can get,but these are the most popular.
