  1. At the community college you will just be taking the basic classes that everyone is required to take at college before getting into your major classes. So you'll be taking a history, 2 1/2 science (ex chem, bio + bio lab), 2 english classes and just basic classes like that. You really shouldn't worry too much about those classes because at a community college they are all pretty much easy As. But once you get those b.s. classes finished, then take some more science classes if you're going into pre-med. Community College classes are always a joke compared to a real college, so getting Chem, bio, etc done at a CC will help you out. Just talk to other students once you get there and get there advice too

  2. do you know what 4 yr u wan tot transfer to?  a big mistake that people make in attending cc is taking generals without looking into what will transfer.  check with the 4 yr to see what classes will not only cover your generals but also which classes will transfer into your bio major at the 4 yr.  talk to a counselor at the 4 yr.  if u don't know what 4 yr u want to go to ask a counselor at the cc.  classes vary college to college.

  3. Gen Ed, Gen Ed, Gen Ed and again Gen Ed. keep in mind however not everything you take at one school will transfer to another.

If at all possible take as many maths at a CC as you can.

  4. What most do to get into med school is to have a BS or BA degree. I am planning to do the same thing as you so i believe that i can help you a little bit with this one. Some universities have "agreements" with community colleges meaning that you can complete a specific list of courses that will transfer over to the university and even transfer as a sophmore or junior. So first of all, try to ask you CC counselor if they have any type of agreement. But usually courses to transfer over are general ones such as english, math, history, goverment, art, language and in your case some science classes. Good lucck!
