My husband and I live in Owings Mills right now. I'm applying to a few federal gov jobs in D.C. Anyway, we are thinking about moving into Baltimore city. Can anyone give me advice on commuting from baltimore to dc? Whats the best community to live in thats close to Penn Station? btw, moving away from baltimore is not an option for me since I have family that I do not want to move away from. I also don't mind a long commute, as long as I'm not stuck in traffic.ty!

  1. You'll definitely want to take MARC's Penn Line from Baltimore to DC's Union Station (see link). It will take about 40 minutes each way, but it's absolutely the best option for commuting from Baltimore.

  2. MARC Train from Penn Station to Union Station.  Mt. Vernon is a nice area to live.
