Former Liverpool director of football, Damien Comolli, has advised Raheem Sterling to sign a new long term deal at Anfield.
The English International is currently at a standoff with the Reds over the subject of the new terms of his contract. According to some reports, the winger is demanding a wage in the region of 50,000 pounds a week, a salary Brendan Rodgers deems to be too
much for an 18 year old player.

“My advice would be sign the contract and stay at Liverpool unless there is something which makes him really uncomfortable,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“I really don't think money should be an issue. He is 18 and it is going to be one of many contracts he is going to sign and he is going to end up being a wealthy individual.”
“The important contract, if you are money-orientated, is the one you sign when you are 31 not 18.”
Sterling currently leads the Liverpool attack alongside Luis Suarez and has impressed many with his eye-catching dribbling and sparkling runs down the flanks. His splendid start to the season also earned him a place in the England’s national squad of the
