Comonent video input blanks to blue screen

Question

I have an Olevia LT 30 HV. when a device is plugged into the component video input(Y Pb Pr) and the video displays white, like snow or explosions the TV blanks to a blue screen and when the video retuns to a normal colored the video returns to the screen. I am on the Home Entertainment Industry, My thought is that that the component video input needs to be replaced.
