Comp says that over 1 GB is used when nothing is...

Question

this is not a delster, but this MP3 Player uses the same software to play music, videos and view pictures. But my problem is that when i take all the music off f it, it says that there's only 600 some-odd Mb of free space one it. this is a 2GB MP3 player.how do you free up all that lost space??
