  1. No. I think that Disney presents things the right light. It is just people that view what Disney presents as a negative thing. However, the other companies I feel are just presenting models as a commercial or marketing tactic to increase their profits.

  2. Um no. I think it's the parents' fault for not making sure their children understand that beauty isn't perfection or size 0.

  3. actually yes i think they r some of the reasons but more of the celebritys... and the skinny models with the great butt and b***s r more of the reason

  4. i also think toys to are affecting the kids..like those d**n bratz dolls that are brainwashing the young innocent girls to dress like s***s, and worry about there looks.

  5. i dont think the companies adversly promote low self-esteem but more so just perpetuate stigmas the media puts out into our society.

So more less the media i think is the source and companies such as those are just a outlit per say for those messages;and or subliminal messages and criss-cross ideals our kids or youth i should say receive:/

  6. Maybe, I just will never work for a corrupt company like Disney.

  7. YES, and a couple of years ago there was story in the media about abercrombie would not higher minorities to work in the front part of there stores they only higher minorities to work in that back stocking the mechanize. because they claimed that mostly white teen bought clothes from their stores. I have not been in abercrombie store lately so i do not know if they changed their polices.
