the company list basically depends upon ur interest eg. if u have intrest in communication then there are many companies...like..airtel...bsnl....etc.

but if u r interested in manufacturing ic's and devices..then u have to wait for a couple of years..because..ic giants like INTEL has invested on a plant in chennai...and will estimates to  begin production in 2011.

the demand for the EC engineers originally pops up because of mobile revolution so..as of now only the mobile communication companies will help u to explore ur goal.
