Companies that had problems with motivating their staff?

HI! I am supposed to write a 1000 word paper on solving a problem that some company has with motivating its stuff (or some similar human resources problem), but there is not many companies that actually put that information on the internet. Does anyone know any companies that i could write about??

(The problem shouldn't be older than about 6months-1year and I need to be able to get the information about the problem from somewhere, like newspapers or some internet site)

Do a search on company morale.  This may point you in the direction you want.  There are many articles out there about this and I'm certain examples of companies and what they did.  Companies themsleves wouldn't do it.  Look at Microsoft as a company to research on morale/motivation.
