Companion Ticket on Delta

Question

So I'm looking for a trip to Paris in December and I want to use my Delta Miles (I have enough) but none of the flights that require the least amount of miles are listed when I look just through the regular booking thing. Can you get a companion ticket or what is another way for me and the person I'm traveling with to be on the same flight??

Chris, the minimum mileage to go to Paris is 50,000 miles for a free ticket using SkySaver. There are flights available from Dec 1 through the 10th, and returning Dec 1-11. The rest of the month, SkySaver is sold out, so SkyChoice must be used, which  costs more mileage. The latter part of December is heavily traveled, so that is why SkySaver is not available. If you want to go during this period, sign in to Delta's SkyMiles with your account number and pin, and go to the rewards section. Make your reservation, and before finalizing it, open another window and go to Delta.com reservations and make a reservation for your friend, get the seat assignments by going back and forth between windows, and finish up with them, using your sky miles FIRST, then finish the pay one with a credit card. That way you will have both of them done on the same flights with seats together.
