Company Golf Outing - Asking Vendors for "donations" ?

Okay so every year my company treats all our contractors to an all day golf outing followed by dinner

At the dinner we are going to be giving out prizes & I am trying to write a letter to our variouse vendors asking for free samples/ giveaways but I am having trouble finding good wording with out pretty much sounding like "hey can you give us free stuff!"

You should focus on the benefit they will get out of it- name exposure, etc. Put yourself in their shoes, and answer the questions they would most likely ask.
