Company tax return - extended trial balance?

For Company tax return, does the company need to submit extended trial balance along with accounts & Tax comp?

No.

HMRC  just require accounts and CT600.

No that's not required but a better tax computation will include the P&L and have backing schedules breaking down admin expenses etc and showing how the tax sensitive items have been treated.
