Can someone please tell me the concept of comparative advantage, the way it relates to the ipod. Please explain it from either an input or output perspective.

Please help, I have no idea what comparative advantage nor input or output perspective means.

Thanks

  1. Ipods are proprietary technology so comparative advantage concepts don't really apply in the general sense unless you strip them down to a pure manufacturing output.  Such as China can produce more ipods with less cost than we can, but we can produce more college educated people to invent, market, and sell them.  So it kinda works out.

try this definition, if you can't follow it then you need more economics study.
