  1. Yester day when scientist said the world is round people wanted to kill hiim.To day even after I proved that I have issued the warning 2 hours before Tsunami struck our coast nobody came to find the fact or to fight with me for this bold and scientific fact.

  2. Science today can be made by who pays for it! 1 hundred years ago it was emperical truth! Now it is what you can pay one to say that makes your millions! Think about it, one will say this, payed by that one, and the other will say whATEVER! Science is a thing that conflicts with our ideals!!!But science is still the true empirical that must be , It is a thing that scares our politicos to death! Once the sun went around the world, NOT NO MORE!!!!! How did that happen?

  3. Depends on how far back you mean by "past."  Modern science is based on the scientific method, which is a good dividing line between past and present science. The scientific method changed the way science was approached; before it, there were assumptions by philosophers and the church.  With the implementation of the scientific method, observations were studied over and over until a hypothesis earned the title of Theory or Law.

  4. Well.. hm... I am going to try to explain this best I can. the science of today is more or less an add on from the science of the past.  There are many new things being discovered and more exploration taking place.  Many tools that help us with our discoveries and technologies in monitoring Earth's movements is enhanced more now.  But the science of today would not be what it is without the science of the past.  If there were no founders of some of the things we study today and excelled, we may just be in square one if anywhere at all.  Think of the theory of continental drift founded by Wegener.  With-out his discovery we may not be as keen on plate tectonics.  Yes Charles Richter could have come up with the Richter scale to sense earthquakes, but we may not totally know the causes of them.  We should also think of the science of the future.  There is still so much to be enhanced and discovered.  Only 5% of our ocean has been discovered yet.
