  1. because they dont have the things that rich people have in order to have a comfortable life.

  2. violence is violence. The only difference is in certain places it's more acceptable, and sometimes that's what it takes to survive. Just because a neighborhood is rich doesn't mean there's less violence, especially for the fact that someone from a poor neighborhood would rob one from a rich neighborhood before they rob their own.

rich neighborhoods, the people are more discrete, so the violence that does happen, you probably don't even know it or it's just not talked about.

poor neighborhoods, one persons business is everyone's business

the only thing that matters is rich or poor, we're all people, and we all have issues, some just choose to keep them in the dark.

  3. Rich neighborhoods - Pranks

    Poor neighborhoods - Murder

  4. rich neighborhoods:  typically, it occurs behind closed doors and rarely occurs where the neighbors can see

poor neighborhoods:  out in the open and also behind closed doors.

Also, the "reasons" for the violence may be different in poor neighborhoods, only because there is much more stress from poverty in general and it's possible that environment may be a fertile ground for certain types of violence.
