  1. The graph of |x+2| is described in the source. Read after 'connect the dots.' Move it 2 units to the right. You have the graph of |x|, which is always positive.

    The graph of f(x)=x is a straight line sloping upward and can assume negative values.

  3. 1) Both are straight lines between x=0 and x=> infinity

    2) Both are straight line between x=> -infinity to zero but the slope are different

    Abs value of x, m=-1, thus entire function will look like a 'V' as the 'X' will just be a line.

    3) f'(x)=1, for both but for for f(x)=absx, f(x)= absx/x
