  1. Bacterial Cell VS Yeast Cell

Similarities: Both have cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm

Differences: Bacterial have no nucleus but have the plasmid and a single chromosome found in the nucleus straight in the cytoplasm.Yeast have cell wall.Bacterial cell wall is made of petidoglycan while yeast cell wall is made of chitin.

P.S. Are you from River Valley High School by any chance?I got the same question for my science assignment.

  2. bacteria cell = a prokaryote (fungi is also another one)

yeast cell = a eukaryote (others include plant cells, animal cells)

    Differences:

Eukaroytes have membrane-bound organelles (prokaryotes have none)

    They are larger than prokaryotes

    Their ribosomes are larger

They always have a nucleus with linear DNA (Prokaryotes have circular DNA, without a nucleus)

    Similarities:

Both have ribosomes (they make proteins)

Both have DNA (the control centre of the cell)

Both have plasma membranes (they allow what enters/ exits the cell)
