Ok I might get some of this wrong, but as I understand it the main similarities are that the same types of stone tools were being used as opposed to the Neolithic period. Also people were still nomadic hunters and gatherers but as I understand it the lower Paleotlithic tribes had started animal herding in earnest and entirely new species of animal were being hunted and new plants were being gathered as a result of warming climates. Not sure if this was what you were looking for.
