  1. To me, they all attempted to impose their beliefs and will by imposition, rather than proselytizing.

  2. same difference as french to english to german to danish.  its a matter of being objective and looking back into history and how life was then.  their exploits are the same as the mongolians, the romans, franks, hannibal, vikings etc.

seljuk:  a Turkic and Persianate Sunni Muslim dynasty that ruled parts of Central Asia and the Middle East from the 11th to 14th centuries. They set up an empire known as Great Seljuq Empire that stretched from Anatolia to Punjab and was the target of the First Crusade. The dynasty had its origins in the Turcoman tribal confederations of Central Asia and marked the beginning of Turkic power in the Middle East. After arriving in Persia, the Seljuqs adopted the Persian culture and language and played an important role in the development of the Turko-Persian tradition which features "Persian culture patronized by Turkic rulers." today, they are remembered as great patrons of Persian culture, art, literature, and language and are regarded by some as the cultural ancestors of the Western Turks- present-day inhabitants of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan

ottoman: ruling class of turkey.  from 1500 - 1918. absorbed the cultures of conquered lands and their peoples, at the same time being influenced by traditions and languages of Islamic cultures, notably Arabic and Persian. Throughout its history, the Ottoman Empire had a significant Jewish population, which absorbed and enriched Ottoman culture.

great tolerance for different cultures and religions.  men of the ruling dynasty, the house of Osman, took wives from various ethnic groups and thus the Sultans themselves were of mixed racial and cultural heritage. sounds good?

mughal-turkish are descendants of genghis khan who conquered all the way up to hungary, syri, iran.  genghis objective is to 'mongolise' the world then.  he raped and plundered and get his more than a dozen sons to sire as many children as possible.  if u look at central asia - the pple have mixed features which is caused by the mongols.
