  1. overall, i would say the aztec women were the most beautiful.

  2. I assume you mean women of these "civilizations" in their respective time periods in history.

The approximate end of the Maya Civ...850 AD.

    Aztec..1550 AD

Inca...1600  AD...... (website references at the end, here)

Very very little has been written about the poorer class women of these times.  Only the royalty has been described by Spanish authors, or some educated Indians who learned to write in Spanish perhaps.

Read the works of BISHOP DIEGO DE LANDA for an account of the last years of the Maya rule and true culture of the 16th Century.  (his invaluable manuscript, Relacion de las Cosas de Yucatan. )

Some Maya gods were women, but not many.

For the Aztec Perspective... Find books written by BARTOLOME DE LAS CASAS.  He was a friar, a religious spokesman for the MUCH needed! Indian Human Rights to the King's court of Spain.  He described daily life of the Indians, but this was POST Aztec civilization.  Nahuatl culture.  I can't think of any "Aztec Indian writers".

In Peru, the royal woman usually married their brother (THE Inca) to produce the next heir INCA.  Remember, only the royalty were Inca, the lower classes were just the people.

HUAMAN  POMA was a Peruvian of the time who learned Spanish and wrote one fantastic book, LETTER TO A KING.  It is the best description of daily life, strife, poverty, mistreatment by the Spanish, and the way life USED TO BE in ancient Peru.

I'm sorry that women were not important enough to describe fully in these ancient times.
