Just be glad your teacher didnt ask you to compare the Epic Dramatic and Modern Media treatments of Characters form Greek Legends ... though judging from those questions maybe he or she did?

the only comparison I can see is the fact they they were both Kings.

Odysseus was Married to Penelope, while Oedipus was given his mother to marry as a prize.  I don't believe the marriage between Oedipus and his mother, Jocasta, was ever consummated...
