I've always thought Melbourne in good weather is the best state as such a lot of great places to visit. such as the beautiful Dandenong area ,the coast line and the great Ocean road. the Grampians to name a few. But unless you had a big family connection or wonderful job then I wonder who would want to live there in the awful weather they get. Give ne Queensland anytime. For the weather and beaches so much more to do outdoors because we have the weather for it. Cost of living well there's not a lot in it. Petrol should be 8 cents a litre cheaper in Queensland. Vehicles about the same

I think it would all be fairly simalar except in brisbane it is warm all year round. In melbourne winters it does get cold

melbourne is a wonderful place to live - brisbane is a great place to visit.
