Compare communication used today to the communication used in the past!?

1.Please help me with this question also why is communication necessary.

old phone lines, unnecessary line changes, monthly rental of the actual phones, yes the phone magnates had us all over a barrel if we wanted to communicate via phone. now it's cheaper and easier, so there will be more of it.

emails are cheap, too.

The most significant difference is speed. Communication today   with the internet especially, phones, and TV is instant and cheap. Communication used in the past had to be written and carried by hand, which could take weeks or months depending on the distance between parties. Nowadays communication is also globalized, meaning it's easy to share culture across nations. One dysfunction of the convenience and speed of modern communication is that information received by these methods is not always reliable.

Communication is necessary because it is the only way to gather information. Without information about the outside world, people become isolated and societies cannot compete with international industry.
