  1. Hep C is spread through direct blood to blood contact.

sharing needles, getting a tatoo(in prsion) blood transfusion(from before they started screaning for hep c)

not through s*x(unless it is rough where both partners are bleeding on each other)

other diseases, can be contagious through causal contact like kissing(mono) sharing a small space with someone who has a cold/flu.

  2. Hep C can only be passed on through Blood to blood only...Not through normal contact like kissing, sharing cups, and very rarely through s*x (Unless blood is involved or anal s*x)....Sharing needles or razors is most easist way....HIV and other diseases like Hep B can be caught via body fluids like s*x etc but usually die quickly out of the human body, unlike Hep c it can live a long time in the correct conditions...Hep C will not always kill you and in fact you can live a normal life sometimes looking after yourself. There is no vacinne for HEP C but is for HEP A & B....Hep C is very contagious if you are a drug user, so almost assume you have it if you use IV drugs.

  3. Hep C = is a type of virus that attacks the liver, the body's immune system is unable to fight off.

Parasites=Live off living things (animals and humans) some live on humans blood and can't survive with out it.

Small pox=people died from this and alot.

    Staphylococcal=species of bacteria

Syphilis= bacterium develops in 3 distinct phases

Trichinosis= is a parasitic infection from eating raw or under cooked meats by species of the round worm.

Chicken pox=contagious-red spots-itchy- blisters- dries up

Yellow fever=causes skin to turn light yellow very sick

AIDS= Human viral disease that ravages the body's ability to defend it's self from infections and disease

Cancer=Uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells, destroys other tissue and invades organs in body

Diphtheria= acute highly infectious disease formation of a false membrane in upper respiratory system

Leprosy=chronic infectious disease caused by bacteria if not treated can result in disfigurement in feet, hands and face

Polio= viral disease may cause temporary paralysis most cases this is permanent

Rabies=infection in central nervous system caused by virus

Lupus= attacks healthy tissues and cells or outer skin lupus also attacks organs

Liver cirrhosis=damage to liver and can't function proper fro drinking mostly

Kidney stones= kidneys filter all waste in body stones are hurtful and hard to pass and may need treatments to help along

Not sure what you were looking for but these are the ones I thought off top of head that i've done reading on ????

  4. Hep C is spread by blood to blood contact, rarely spread by sexual contact.  Some people can clear the virus from their bodies, either with or without treatment.

Hep C can live outside the body for up to 4 days.

HIV on the other hand, can't be eliminated completely from the body (at least not yet), and once outside the body, HIV lives for only a few minutes.

  5. HCV is comparable to more like a "nano-virus".

HCV doesn't just attack the liver, it needs the liver to reproduce, in change it causes liver damage.

HCV is found in all organs and connective tissues.

    HCV is more auto-immune like.

The virus evades the body by changing it's viron sequence. In this aspect it is like HIV, although the diseases are totally seperate.

By causing "quasi-species" of the parental virus, the bodies immune system becomes confused and cannot keep up with the evolving species. It can take up to 10 years before the first well known symptom because in most infected the virus takes a while to begin the overload process. The virons are extremely small, so it takes thousands sometimes, millions before someone notices something isn't right.

HCV can cause over 150 extra-hepatic diseases (outside the liver)

The degree of liver damage doesn't correlate with the degree of symptoms and vice versa. Same goes with ALT and AST and liver damage, viron level etc.

So, read up on auto-immune diseases, nano-viruses etc....

Quality of life is severely affected with chronic diseases like HCV.

  6. hep c is a dse  you can aquired thru unsafe s*x to a infected person, using same neddles and/or  neddle prick, unscreen blood for transfution and direct contact to a person with the dse while other dse can be aquired such as sneezing, coughing, using cloths of a infected person, thru skin to skin contact.
