  1. What "Max Jullian" is basically trying to say is that he has no idea what the answer to your question is. Fortunately, I do.

    There are some major differences between the Earth and the moon, but there are also a fair amount of similarities.

    Similarities:

    * Both are terrestrial bodies.

    * Both are oblate spheroids.

    * Both have obtained hydrostatic equilibrium -- this happens when gravity created be the object pulling inwards, and the pressure from the compacted matter pushing outwards, become balanced, creating a near perfect sphere.

    * Both have been hit by asteroids.

    * Both have very dense cores.

    * Both orbit other objects -- the Earth orbits the sun, and the moon orbits the Earth.

    * Both rotate on their axis -- the moon's rotation is about 29.5 earth days and the Earth's is about 24 hours.

    Differences:

    * Earth has liquid water.

    * Earth orbits sun while moon orbits Earth.

    * Earth has an atmosphere.

    * Earth is a planet... the moon is not.

    * An object orbits the Earth (obviously the moon) but nothing orbits the moon.

    Good luck on your homework!

  2. The earth is polluted with useless beings called "people" who's sole purpose in their existance is to impress eachother so as to feel content with themselves.

    The moon isn't.
