goals of revolution is to correct the imbalance in society.  mexico was fighting agst spain's rule - independence from colonialism. elements of socialism was injected but tyranny / imbalance continue till today

russia was changing a governmental system from monarchy / tyranny to bolshevism / communism - total overhaul - proletariat revolution.  agst bourgeosie.  but somehow the ideology got lost and another tyranny grew - KGB etc which makes life just as miserable.  only thing is poverty was eliminated to a large extent.
