Why does it gets warmer when you go towards the Earth's Interior?

  1. The cave is insulated by all the crust between the interior and its self. Even the worlds deepest cave isn't deep enough to really get any heat out of the core. And it is cold inside of a cave because of lack of sunlight combined with the heat leaching properties of water


  2. But if you were in a deep mine such as in South Africa it can get pretty darn warm way down there.
