  1. I won't answer all your questions. I've only visited both and I live the rest of the time close to the Swiss Border in the Black Forest.

Frankfurt is/was the place Eisenhower set up the American presence in Germany. That influence is still there. Most Germans feel affinity towards America. Frankfurt is closer to the Rhine and the lower in elevation. Slightly warmer winter, but hey, both are in the same time zone. It gets dark before 5pm in Berlin in Dec. It gets dark a little after 5pm in Frankfurt for the same period of the year.

I adore all the German girls. They are more demure than their American counterparts.

Berlin is avant garde. A wild mixture. A cosmopolitan city. Berlin has enclaves of little villages within little villages. Berlin is the old Prussian proud. However, it is the place we see sometimes on the news with the neoNazi.

On TV they show car wrecks, for heavens sake, not gang murders.

Although Berlin has more museums, more culture, Frankfurt would, in my mind at least, be more of a university town, more unified for academics. The "Harvard" of Deutschland is at Heidelberg, not at Frankfurt.

As far as English, its in German advertising, I'd say 1 out of 10 of the whole population can understand my English. They learned British English. More English speakers in the university towns.

And, they don't make a bad beer in Germany. Not one. And, they make over 200. I don't follow you on a university study and night life? You should be ready to walk in the woods, drink a beer at a fire station raising money, walk through a Mediaval city.

    Good Luck!!!

  2. From my nick, you guess what are my answers...

    1. BETTER PLACE TO STUDY IN......

Depends on what you want to study. Basically, Berlin has 16 universities and colleges, of whom 3 are in the list of the world's best universities. Frankfurt's university has a very good department on Jewish history, for example, so there are benefits in each city.

    2. COLDER IN WINTER.....

I think Berlin, but not sure.

    3. HOTTER IN SUMMER....

I think Frankfurt, but not sure

    4. HAS MORE ENGLISH-SPEAKING PEOPLE....

Good question. I'd say Berlin, because in numbers, probably there are more English-speakers in a population of 3.5 million than in a much smaller population of Frankfurt.

    5. WHERE CAN I ENJOY MY NIGHTLIFE MORE....

How would I know what you like to do at night? :-)

But Berlin has far better nightlife for any style.

    6. WHERE HOTTER GIRLS CAN BE FOUND....

Berlin. Is it even a question?

    7. HAS THE BEST UNIVERSITY W/C IS_____ .....

    WC being toilets? ;-)

    8. HAS A BETTER CLIMATE....

Both are about the same, perhaps Frankfurt

    9. WHERE I CAN FEEL MORE THE EUROPEAN AMBIENCE...

Berlin has more places that are not americanised.

    10. WHERE THERE ARE NO RACISTS.....

In heaven. There are unfortunately racists everywhere in the world. I am yet to find a place larger than 1000 people (which is not a convent) that doesn't have racism in it.

  3. Berlin  1-10

  4. 1. Berlin

    2. No big difference, Berlin might be a little colder.

    3. Again no big difference.

    4. You should get along with English very well in both cities.

    5. Berlin

    6. Depends on the taste, I say Berlin

    7. Depends on the major, but I'd say Berlin as it has three big universities.

    8. No big difference, maybe a slight advantage for Frankfurt.

    9. What is European ambience to you? Both are quite international cities by German standards with many foreigners living and working there. But both have a very distict feeling of their own.

    10. The eastern suburbs of Berlin may have a problem there.
