Are there any websites that compare average food prices in the United States? I realize that there have been long standing differences in food cost inflation and general costs based on geographic areas, but I find it interesting that in the two years since I moved just an hour away from my hometown the cost of the coffee I drink has gone up less than a dollar a bag back home as opposed to over two dollars more a bag where I am currently living. We hear a lot about the cost of food going up because of the cost of fuel, but how has it affected areas like California which has a lot of growth in produce but skyrocketing fuel costs?
