  1. How big is your tank?  This will not only dictate the other fish you can/should add, but how long you'll be able to keep the Clowns (they'll top a foot in length).  Anything that won't go out of its way to attack the Loaches (Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors, Convict Cichlids, most Mbuna, etc.) would be good.  Angels, Discus, Acara, any of the dwarves, Haplochromis, or other free swimming Rift Lake Cichlids, even Oscars, Severums, Festivums, and others would work great.

  2. Get small cichlids so they dont eat the loaches, also clowns are shoal fish and are better ketp with 3 at least this will help them grow as the less dominant of the pair will not eat all the food so they get to a bigger size for the cichlids. I had Firemouth Cichlids with my clowns and i got them all when they were small.

  3. Don't put cichlids with huge mouths if your clown loaches are too small, kinda obvious. Clown loaches are very peaceful so just look out for agression from the cichlids. Other wise you should be fine. Maybe try some dwarf Cichlids like Rams or Kribs?

  4. I really don't recommend putting any cichlids with loaches. Loaches are not aggressive enough to handle cichlids.
