  1. Crop resources can be used for fuel or food. It's all for human consumption-ism

Our problem today is not with the automobile. It's with commutes and reliance on cars as the main source of transportation.

If materialism was decreased, - we'd have less stuff to keep in our houses. If the fluidity of home ownership was changed, - we could move closer to work. If white-collar professionals would telecommute more, -then less cars in gridlock, - and we'd save an hour a day each, - to be more productive. As less office space is needed, - heating / cooling and more parking lots would not be necessary.

  2. my opinion is that we should ditch the corn for fule, and just have Fuel Cell vehicles. they run on hydrogen and they dont polute the air, they only release water vapor and not carbon dioxide. we need to be using the food recources for ourselves and other countries that need it.

  3. Should the nation invest not in hundreds but in thousands of wind farms feeding cheap electricity into the grid with a shift to hybrid automobiles we can then run our automobiles largely on wind energy inexpensive inexhaustible energy then we can do our short distance driving - the daily commute grocery shopping and so forth almost entirely with electricity using efficient technology we could easily cut the use of fossil fuels by 50 percent in equivalent.
