The Manchester United striker claims that there is enough game time for everyone at the helm and the presence of several forwards only urges the squad to perform at their best.
Following his return against Newcastle United in the mid-week Capital One Cup tie, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson some food for thought as he names his starting line-up for today’s crunch tie with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Londoners haven’t come away with a win from the Theatre of Dreams in the Premier League era and their current task has been made harder by the presence of luminaries such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380, Javier Hernandez and of course Rooney himself.
Fergie will surely go for the win, given that his side are at home for this one but will be relishing the headache of selecting his match day team.
Van Persie has been in scintillating form since arriving at the club, while Shinji Kagawa’s attacking prowess seems to be a vital cog in the Red Devils’ machine. The duo may have warranted an automatic berth in the last few games, but Rooney’s return means

According to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 star himself, this extra competition will create a pulsating atmosphere in the dressing room, where all the front-man will be gunning for game time.
"There is a lot of competition up front, but that is great for the squad. The manager will rotate when he feels it is necessary. There are a lot of games throughout the season. It means we can get a rest here and there to make sure we are ready for the big
games towards the end."
He also commented on his injury against Fulham, revealing that the recovery process involved a lot of gym sessions and and extensive training.
"It does feel like the start of my season. It was a freak injury and whilst it wasn't too bad, I had to be careful when I came back training and in games because it could open up again. There is only so much you can do in the gym. You need that training
and game time to get you to your full sharpness," he said.
