Competition suits?

Question

im thinking about getting a fastskin or fastskin 2 or tracer light or TYR fusion 2 or something.

how many times can you use them before they dont work as well?

and even after that, are they still better then the cheaper, lycra suits?

which technical suit would be best for me. im a breastroker (and im a guy)

my bf only uses TYR but also can depend on how tall and how much you weigh

Being a breaststroker, I wouldn't think you would wear one of these unless you are in the Olympics in a couple of weeks.

Seriously, my coach does not allow breaststrokers to wear jammers, briefs only. She does not want anything, yes anything on the legs to mess up your kick.

I would save your money, I don't think $360 will do it. If you want something that will last, buy an endurance brief from Speedo.

I have a fastskin 2, only because im goin to Centeral Zones this year...I honestly like fastskin 2 suits better than TYR fusion 2 suits.

Fastskins life is moderatly long...my freind has a fastskin shes been wearing it for about 1 year now.... so i guess thats about 20-30 meets, and its still in almost new form. She treasures it and goes along ALL the guidelines with washing it, how to keep the life long, and all that stuff.

After that, im thinking they're still pretty decent, probably better than lycra, maybe im not that sure beucase I've never tested it.
