Competitions?

Competitions have never been my thing, but I am very interested in them now. I am not understanding the whole concept of it. Do you audition on the audition date which is usually located at a hotel or high school then they let you know if you have made it to regionals and then if your good enough they will let you move on to nationals and you have to have a new dance for regionals and national. Do I have the concept down. If not can you explain it to me?

  1. When you compete in a dance competition you showcase your best dance and you are trying to place. Wether you get third second or first. There are also various other awards you could recieve. But you don't try out. You register to dance in the contest and you show your best dances and hope to place and everyone can go to nationals but you are more likely to do better with a routine that has won multiple awards and has gotten recognized for something.

    Hope that helped.
