  1. yes!

depends on the complaint.. as to what they write back!

If you have a complaint, with any company..write to them.

If you have already telephoned them and gotten no-where..may I suggest you mention "trading standards"..it always works a treat!

Should you have to the write to the company.. write to them.. mention in your letter.. "should I not hear back from you within 10 working days, of the date of this letter, sadly I shall have no alternative but to contact the Trading Standards"

    Watch.. wait and see!!!!

Remember...the customer (somehow) is always "right"!!!

  2. Yes -  I complained twice by letter to Tesco's and was completely ignored on both occasions.

  3. About 15 years ago I wrote to Tescos in Salisbury complaining that my steak was off. I received a nice reply containing a ten pound food voucher. The manager also said that he was in no position to comment as I had not returned the steak and thus he would have to take my word for it. I liked his reply because it was prompt and funny, and it also resolved the problem.

  4. Yes, not a store, but a hotel chain and they responded promptly and corrected the erroneous charge that I had initially written about.

  5. Funnily enuf my mum wrote to tescos last week and received a reply last week!  they messed up her food delivery (which she is doing online while she has chemo as its easier for her) and were two days late with it as well as a series of other c**k ups.  they sent her a letter of apology and a £5 gift card...which they didn't put in the envelope!

    nice try tesco!

  6. I wrote in April and have chased 5 times by phone (to Tesco) and now they have asked me to re-send letter, despite previously sending me a letter confirming they are dealing with.  I think generally you do get an answer as I have written a few in the past to M&S and Boots regarding items.  Tesco are actually very good if you phone as they will refund immediately most things you are unhappy with, no questions.  Hope this helps.

  7. i`ve complained to next by letter before, they replied quite quicky and enclosed a gift voucher!!
