Complete Blood Count question...?

I was just wondering, is it possible for a complete blood count (CBC) to show normal levels in the results when a patient is in later stages of cancer? Or would the results be abnormal, such as a high/low red or white cell count - or an abnormal platelet count? I know nothing is 100%, but what is the most likely result? Thanks guys, just curious.

It would depend on what type of cancer the person has. It is possible to have normal values on a cbc if the patient has a malignancy that does not involve the bone marrow, interfere with hematopoiesis, or cause bleeding.
