  1. You have Bangalore-Kanyakumari Exp.

Get down at Nagercoil. From there, Suchindram is hardly 5-6 kms, en route Kanyakumari. A great temple in deed.

  2. Suchindrum is a temple town situated in the southern most district of Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu State,India. Its 11 km from kanyakumari city and 7 km from Nagarcoil town 70 km from adjacent Tirunelveli district and approx 85 km from Trivandrum city. The town of Suchindrum is renowned for the Sthanumalayan Temple (pronounced Sthanumalayan) and was an important citadel of Travancore province.

Regular bus services from Trivandum, Kanyakumari and Thirunelveli are available o ferry passengers. If you are traveling by railways, then the Nagercoil is the nearest railway station, which lies some 7 kilometers away from the Suchindram Temple.

  3. Respected Sir/madam,

Thanks for your question and suchindram is very near to kanyakumari and better you can come to Madurai from Bangalore by bus or train and it's the best way to hire a car from madurai and from Madurai to kanyakuamri the exact distance may be 250 kms and so it may be 500 kms for to and fro journey and you can engage with the pioneers in the travel field "Royal tours & travels" from madurai that the cost would be very low and normal ie., Rs.2400  (Rs.4.50/km) includes Fuel cost,Driver Batta,Night halt charges  in an Tata Indica Non a/c car so that you can visit the temple independently and return back to Maduari and from madurai you have a pleasant journey back to Bangalore we are preferring madurai since Madurai is easily accessible from Bangalore other than Trivandrum or Kanyakumari since the trains are always reserved and you can't get the confirmed tickets you can better travel by private buses like K.P.N Travels ,A.B.T travels and the cost for a/c volvo is only rs.500 and for any assistance you can call Royal tours & travel;s at 09791392717 or mail them at royaltours2007@gmail.com.

    Thanks and warm regards

  4. suchindram is nearer to kanyakumari (nagarcoil also nearer)

it is better to take train. try srailways.com

  5. Sucheendram is very near to Kanyakumari

From Bangalore go to Thiruvananthapuram by train,   and you can go either by bus or private vehicle to Sucheendram.  If you are going by bus go to Nagercoil first and from there to kanyakumari by bus, which are very frequently available.  Nagercoil to Kanyakumari only  one and a half hour journey. and first Sucheendram will come and from there half anhour to Kanyakumari..  When you are going to Sucheendram, you should visit Kanyakumari also,  There you can see the sunrise and sunset,  Swami Vivekananda Memorial is a must to see.
