Could you be nonviolent in the midst of an enemy? How and/or why?

  1. need to be more specific in your question every situation is different but the general ans. is yes. Gandhi would be the prime example, even the hippies of the 60s could be cited. but beware,passive resistance usually ends poorly unless you have a lot of backup


  2. Passive resistance, like Gandhi did, can be done if the authority is afraid of world opinion. But in places like Myramar, the monks are being beaten and jailed. In Tibet the same applies.
