R.I.P. Skip, I'm not even a Braves Fan, but I liked listening to him. As for the Playoff run, the Braves need to improve there Rotation and replace Jeff Francouer. If they do that, they have a legetimate chance.

It doesnt look good for the Braves, even next season.

Hudson (depending on the type of surgery) could be out into next season. Smoltz may or may not pitch next season. They wont have Mark Teixera at first base either...unless they are somewhat active in the offseason, I think the Phillies and Mets will be better than the Braves next season.

RIP Skip . . . 20 years ago players woulda had the heart to come back and make the playoffs for him THIS year.  Now . . . not so sure.

RIP Skip - I grew up listening to Skip call Braves games....he was great...and will be missed.....I'll NEVER EVER forget the Sid Bream safe at home call.....I cried when the Bravos beat the Pirates....

I hope the Bravos make the postseason....they just can't beat the Cubbies in postseason though... :-)

I bet Harry & Skip are calling games in heaven....what a team....
