Complicated educational situation, can you help?

hi there,

i was in jordan and i am 14, i was in the 8th grade according to jordanian educational systems, when i arrived to the UK I was told that I am in a different age group therefore next year im going for year 10 according to the UK educational system,

now suppose that i go back to jordan after a year or two, will i be considered in jordan as if i was in 10th( as in UK) or 8th( as in Jordan)?

in a year or 2 you would have finished compulsory education in the UK, you finish when you are at the end of Year 11. I have no idea about the Jordan education system, but just add the extra year or 2 to the 8, so i suppose when you return to jordan in lets say 2 years, you will be in 10th grade, where in the UK you would have finished school?

as if your in tenth, because technically you did the grade/year.
