I have looked an looked an i just can't find a decent tutorial that will help me out..

How in the world do you power components with an amp. What size amps. i can't find any small amps that doesn't seem like it would be to much power

I have a 800 watt sony amp providing sufficent power to my pioneers. Can i tap into the channels on that amp to power my components i plan on buying or do i need a separate amp.. Also if i was to buy another amp. how do i get RCA cables to it if my headunit only has one set of outputs

  1. Well you should get a 4-channel amp to run midrange it'll be the most bang for your buck.  You'll also need to get a crossover to split the signal to multiple amps.  You just run the RCA's from the out on your head unit to the in on your crossover, then there'll be 3-4 sets of outs on the other side.  1 for high end, mid range, low, and sometimes non-fading (subs).

  2. Use Y-adapters for the RCA's

    Run a separate power wire

And use the same power on trigger wire. to turn both amps on

    here's their video: http://www.crutchfield.com/learn/learnin...

pay attention to step 5.   4 minutes 16 seconds into the video. there's ur answer. patch cable from your stereo to your amp, then from your amp to your crossover, then crossover to woofer, tweeter. and yes, get another amp.
