Composite Cables?

I have an SD TV and it has spots for composite cables and I was wondering of I got the cables for my Wii would they work with my TV?

  1. Composite (usually a yellow RCA jack) is a pretty low quality connection. That said, if the TV has a composite input and the Wii has a composite output you can connect and the TV will give you a picture. All you need is a single conductor cable with male RCA plugs at each end.

    S-video or component (3 RCA jacks, colour coded red, blue and green) would give a  better picture if an available option.
