Can a video source that only has an RCA out or Composite Video (Th yellow RCA cable) be sent to a computer monitor? I want to use computer monitors in my car to connect to my DVD player that only has a composite video out. I need a composite video to VGA converter.

Can this be done and where can I find this converter?

  1. A "scan converter" converts composite video to VGA:

  2. You can by flat screen monitors that take Rca input but to be honest it would probably be better if you just bought a portable dvd player with a screen built into it. It should not cost that much more than the monitor.

Try Walmart, Circuit City, or Best Buy.
