ESPN will be making X Games content accessible to millions of fans around the globe throughout various platforms and devices this year.
The host of one of the biggest event of action sports is committed to ensure that the fans will get full dosage of the live action at X Games, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in Los Angeles, California, this year.
The mega-event will be attracting the best in the business from around the globe and putting them on a stage to showcase their skills and reveal just how much they have progressed since last year, all the while setting their eyes on the coveted X Games gold
medal, which is considered to be one of the most prestigious honours in the sport.
With most of the list of athletes invited to compete in the latest edition of X Games already revealed, there is very little reason for the fans to believe that they will be getting treated to a week of performances that will be anything less than memorable.
Talking about the commitment of ESPN to ensure the most satisfying X Games experience for its audience around the globe, the senior vice president of programming and X games Scott Guglielmino said, “The X Games brand has grown over the years and has become
relevant to a wide audience across the globe and especially to youth. As always, our mission is to serve the fan whenever and whenever they want to consume X Games content. So we're making live X Games content available across multiple platforms and devices.
We want to share the X Games experience with fans around the world and on whatever device they have with them.”
Running from June 28 – July 1, X Games will not only be featuring various action sports events, including skateboard, Moto X and BMX Freestyle, but will also have the legends coming in to make the experience even more unforgettable. The likes of Tony Hawk,
Dennis McCoy, Jeremy McGrath and Kevin Robinson will be making their return to the telecast and sharing their expert analysis concerning their respective sports with the fans.
ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN 3, ESPN 3D, X Cast, Twitter, Facebook, ESPN websites and latest X Games App will keep the fans connected with the thrilling action sports action that is due to begin at Los Angeles during the final week of this month.
