can compressed air go into a co2 canister without it blowing up?

  1. NO. You will ruin your tank and you might get hurt if the top blew off if the saftey pin fails. It wouldn't just hit you and stop. It would probably go through you.

    CO2 tanks are rated for liquid co2, which usually is compressed to about 850 psi. Compressed Air tanks are made to withstand 3000 or 4500 psi, depending on the tank.
