Venturi primer? Sorry but I'm not understanding your question. If you have a pump with a gasoline engine you may have an exhaust primer(possibly a form of a venturi primer), but that would not be very common on smaller pumps.  Most smaller pumps would just have a priming port that you would fill, or they may not have a primer at all, depending on the design.
